The ANM director, Elena Mateescu, declared Monday for Antena 3 that the weather is extremely cold in most areas of the country.
The temperatures will be 10-15 degrees Celsius lower than the usuals for this time of year.

The ANM director also declared: „A new wave of snows and cold will affect Romania in the south-west, and will later on extend to the south. There will be mixed precipitations, which will then transform into snow. It is very likely we will have sleet that will cause glazed frost.”
