Romanian Intelligence Service, the Antiterrorist Brigade and other intelligence directions, managed to prevent a terrorist attack planned for December 1st by a Romanian citizen of Hungarian ethnicity, called Atilla Beke Radu Tudor writes on his personal blog.
According to sources in the national security, they found on the suspect:
– devices for night vision
– electronic pulse timers
– pyrotechnic items Category 1, 2 and 3 with high explosive potential - some of them illegally detained
More than 200 items of the kind described above were found on Atilla Beke. The individual had been long preoccupied with electronics.
A man, a member of the extremist party "Youth Movement 64 Counties" from Hungary, was detained by DIICOT, he was accused of trying to detonate an improvised explosive device on Tuesday at the National Day parade held in
Târgu Secuiesc.
