The young inventor from Valcea, Ionut Budişteanu will present at the Salon of Inventions in Brussels a device that can recognize an offender wearing a mask while he tries to break an ATM.
"I qualified to represent Romania with an invention at the International Exhibition of Inventions in Brussels, along with other teams in the country. I will submit an electronic device which attempts to recognize people wearing a mask and robbing an ATM with a flex or polydisc . The idea came to me after seeing more news presenting such robberies, and I know that there was such a case in Râmnicu Vâlcea and the police lost a lot of time before they managed to identify the criminals, " Ionut Budişteanu said, according to Agerpres.
Romanian inventors and researchers are participating in the 63rd edition of the Brussels International Competition - Eureka held on 13-15 November in Brussels within the INNOVA Salon.
Romania will enter the competition with 25 inventions which will be exhibited in the stand made by the Ministry of National Education (MEN).
