An Italian who killed his Romanian girlfriend in Sicily, was sentenced Tuesday to 20 years in prison by the Italian court.The victim’s corpse could not be found by investigators, according to LiveSicilia.it. website.

Giuseppe Chiavetta, aged 45, was found guilty of murder.

The Italian killed the Romanian woman Coroiu Violeta, aged 35 and then hid the body. The crime occured on the 30th October 2012.

The Romanian woman worked as a housekeeper to a family in the Sicilian city of Catania.

The young’s woman father begged the murderer to tell him where the body was, to no avail.
