A Romanian thief was sentenced to serve 7 years in prison in Australia, after stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from ATMs.
As a repeat offender, the judge sentenced the 30 year old Romanian to an additional sentence of 18 months. The authorities managed to catch him after he used cloned cards containing data from several European accounts.
Local authorities said that the Romania is part of a network of ATM thieves operating in major cities in Australia.
