A Romanian citizen was sentenced to pay a fine in Switzerland, because he was caught by police having on him only two francs, an amount lower than the security required from foreigners visiting the country, the newspaper L'Express reports, according to Mediafax.

The Romanian was caught in the city of Delemont having only two Swiss francs in his pocket (1.9 euro).
The Swiss canton authorities have fined him with 130 francs (125 euros) for breach of the conditions for entry in Switzerland.
Article 5 of the Aliens Act provides that any person entering Switzerland must have the financial means to support themselves.
