A Romanian was hit and killed by a vehicle on a highway in northern Italy after she got off from the car in which she was due to a violent dispute with her husband, an Italian, the Italian media reports.
Claudia T., aged 37, got off from the passenger seat of her husband’s car after a violent quarrel with him.
Amid the dispute, the man stopped the car on the emergency lane of the A26 motorway, near the town of Casale Monferrato in the Piedmont region.
Right after she left the car, the Italian husband drove off and the Romanian woman started walking.
After several seconds, the woman was hit by another vehicle that traveled on the highway, dying instantly, according to Pupia TV station.
The Romanian woman’s husband, a 47 year old Italian, is being investigated for murder in the second degree.
