Be EU: Disaster for european tourism, after terrorist attacks
Carlo Corazza, director of DG Growth, Tourism and Creative and Emerging Industries Section, spoke during BE EU TV show with Sabina Iosub, at Antena 3, about the effects of terrorism upon international tourism.
„The horrible attacks in France and Belgium had a strong impact on short term. There was a decline in tourist flow in a very short time, somewhere around 50 percent, while the medium-term averaged 20 percent. But thanks to very good promotional measures, now the situation stabilizes and reaches normal figures”, Carlo Corazza said on Antena 3.
„Of course, we cannot just expect for tourism to recover, we must react and try to increase our advocacy activity”, he said.
