Adina Vălean (PNL) and Corina Creţu (PSD) were elected Tuesday as vice presidents of the European Parliament, Adina Vălean obtained in the first voting round 394 votes, while Corina Creţu got 406 votes in the second round.
The 14 EP vice president positions had 15 candidates.
According to Mediafax, the Social Democrat Martin Schulz was elected president of the European Parliament (EP) on Tuesday in the first round, with the votes of the main pro-European parties, namely PES, EPP and the Liberals.
