Underage Romanian girls are living  a tragic life on the streets of Milan!. Since the age of 11 years old, they are forced to beg, steal and prostitute.  They have arrived in Western Europe after being sold by their own mothers.

The amounts vary from a few hundreds to nearly 8000. The girls end up in the claws of a big criminal group dealing with human trafficking, having strong ties in Europe.

Social workers  in Italy  are working close with the prosecutors trying  to save as many girls as they can from the nightmare of such a living. A NGO provides them with free  of charge visits to the gynecologist and psychological counseling.

After nightfall, the streets of the fashion city is swarming with  young Romanian women. Aged between  11 and 14 years, they have been  sold to a large network of human trafficking operating  in Italy, France and  the UK. Girls are forced into prostitution during the night and at  day  they are sent to beg. Eight thousand Euros. This is the price of a Romanian child. And many Romanian women sell their children for much less.

Young girls got to be threatened by other girls who have suffered the same fate a few years back, but who went up  into  the hierarchy of the organization.

The drama is that most girls prostitute voluntarily, knowing that this is the only way to earn a living away from their country.

The  girls completely refuse to  get away from their tormentors, authorities say.
