Extreme gesture by a Romanian settled in Germany. The 34 year old set himself on fire before a courthouse in the North-East part of the country and is now in serious condition at the hospital.

A man on trial for robbery was the first who rushed up to help him. The German took his jacket immediately and  threw it over the man on fire.

The emergency services arrived in time to save the Romanian’s  life. It is not yet known what were the reasons that made him resort  to such an extreme  gesture.
