Holidays in Greece have become more expensive, now that the Government in Athens has raised the VAT by 10 percent.
This tax hike has hit Greek restaurants hard, their main customers being foreign tourists. The other side of the medal is that Greece has manged to narrowly avoid a default, after repaying a loan tranche to the IMF, with European money.
