Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek count among the Hollywood stars promoting Bulgaria in an advertisement clip released by the Ministry of Tourism in the neighboring country, mediafax.ro. reports.
“Bulgaria is the place to go to", says Sylvester Stallone, on an imperative tone, at the end of the video clip.
The three actors praise the diversity of Bulgarian landscapes , which makes it ideal for those in the film industry who want to film in spectacular locations at affordable prices at the same time. They are joined by other celebrities such as Adrien Brody and Jason Statham (known for his roles in the films of Guy Ritchie).
"The clip did not cost us a leva", stated Nikolina Angelkova, Minister of Tourism in Bulgaria, Sofia Globe reports.
“After the Harry Potter films, tourism rose in England by 50%. Game of Thrones, filmed in Croatia, rose the country’s popularity as a holiday destination ", she said in support of the decision that Bulgaria should be linked to the Hollywood promotion means.
