The 'Joy for Nepal' humanitarian campaign launched by mountain climber Alex Găvan has raised over one hundred thousand euros so far. The money is to be used to finance reconstruction projects in the small country devastated by this year's massive earthquake. The 'Joy for Nepal' campaign started on May the 19th, less than a month after the quake that laid waste to Nepal on the 25th of April. The tragedy happened when Alex Găvan was in one of the two Everest Base Camps.
