UPDATE 00.30 – The new Cabinet, headed by Democrat Pavel Filip, took the oath before the head of state Wednesday evening, realitatea.md. reports.

The information was confirmed by the Secretary General of the President’s Office, Ion Păduraru.

The Republic of Moldova has since Wednesday a new government. Pavel Filip's government got the MPs votes and passed by 57 votes "for" out of 101.

According to the Moldovan Constitution, the President will appoint the new executive. In three days, members of the Cabinet will take the oath of allegiance to the president, and since that time the new executive formally begins its work.
