Romania dropped three places from 42 to 45 in the world rankings on the freedom of the press conducted ​​annually by the French organization Reporters sans Frontières (RSF), ranking in the top below Papua New Guinea, but above the U.S..

Moldova ranked 56, down one place from the previous year, according to the site rsf.org.

This ranking includes 180 countries, one more than last year, Finland ranks first, followed by the Netherlands, Norway, Luxembourg, Andorra, Liechtenstein, Denmark, Iceland, New Zealand and Sweden.
