A Romanian and a Greek crewman were killed in Libya, after a missile fired by an unidentified fighter jet exploded on board their ship, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed on Monday at the request of AGERPRES.
According to the cited source, the incident occurred on Sunday on board the Greek-owned ship under Liberian colors, which was anchored in the port of Derna. The Foreign Ministry said that two Filipino crewmen were also injured in the attack and were taken ashore for medical assistance.
The Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that it will continue monitoring developments in the case, "including also the circumstances of this serious incident."
