A Romanian immigrant who uttered death threats against Muslims after the Paris attacks was arrested Friday near the Grand Mosque in the city of Toulouse, he was carrying a knife.
The Romanian aged 34 , took a taxi on Friday morning to get to the Grand Mosque in Toulouse, in the district of Empalot, according to police sources quoted by France3.
But one of his friends warned the police that the Romanian intended "to kill a Muslim", according to police sources cited by AFP.
Around 9.00 (10.00 GMT), the Romanian was held in front of the mosque. The man was carrying a 20 inches knife blade.
The man is charged with carrying a weapon and uttering death threats.
