An Albanian citizen suspected of terrorism was arrested on an airport in Sicily (southern Italy), after he showed up at the boarding gate for a flight to Romania although he had a ticket for a flight to the UK, the Italian press writes.
The Albanian aged 30, who had false documents, was found on the Fontanarossa Airport in Catania (Sicily), CinqueQuotidiano.it news site inform, according to Mediafax .
The man had bought a ticket online to London, but because he arouse suspicion he came the gate boarding passengers for a flight to Romania.
The Albanian’s name appeared on the suspect individuals list of information services. The Italian authorities had a photo of him holding a Kalashnikov type weapon.
On January 13, the same Albanian was found in the Malpensa Milan Airport while trying to board a flight to London, carrying false documents on him.
