Apparently, the Romanian died in a kamikaze like attack.

A Romanian soldier died Sunday morning in Afghanistan. Five other soldiers were injured in the same explosion.
Defense Minister Mircea Dusa, explained live on Antenna 3, that they were on a patrol mission.
"Earlier this morning, the soldiers who were on the A1 were the victims of an explosion. A soldier has died and five others have been injured. Assessments are being conducted now and we will be back with more complete information when we have it. We have started proceedings to send a military aircraft in Afghanistan to recover them".
