Today is the third day of national mourning in France. Tricolour flags are flying at half mast on all official buildings. Yesterday, thousands of Parisians ignored the authorities recommendation to stay at home and went to the sites of Friday night's terrorist attacks to pay tribute to the victims.
Most museums were closed and the lights of the Eiffel Tower were put out last night. Rallies of support for France took place in several capitals around the world. A few hundred people observed a minute's silence at the French Embassy in Bucharest yesterday, in memory of the victims of the attacks in Paris.
