Wildfires are ravaging several countries in Europe. In Spain, 1,200 hectares were turned into ashes. There are problems in France and in Croatia, where the fire destroyed thousands of olive trees and famous vineyards.
Wine producers in Southern Croatian say they lost the work of several generations before them. The fires have destroyed about 1,000 hectares of vines and people say that few have the resources to replant them.
The situation is similar in France. Hundreds of firefighters battle wildfires in the west of the country, where more than 500 residents were forced to leave their homes.
