The Romanian Royal Family has had in the 150 years since its foundation, a constant connection to the Royal Family of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, based on admiration, affection and respect, both officially and privately, reads a press release sent to AGERPRES by the Secretariat of His Majesty the King.
"In the 150 years since the foundation of the Royal Family of Romania, the connection with the Royal Family of the UK has been constant, based on appreciation, affection and respect, both in its official stand, representing the two nations' history, as well as in the private, family dimension. It has been an enduring relationship, stretched along the XIX, XX and XXI centuries, comprising six generations," shows the press release, sent on the occasion of the meeting at the Elisabeta Palace between the Romanian Royal family and Crown Heir, the Prince of Wales, on the second day of his official visit to Romania.
According to the source, the Prince of Wales has been present, since 1998, almost every year in our country and the Royal Family of Romania takes part in public or official visits in the United Kingdom.
