The announcement was made in the presence of Gabriela Firea during a press conference at PSD premises with Robert Negoita, Rovana Plumb and Ecaterina Andronescu attending.
According to Negoiţă, Firea’s enrollment in in PSD is a win for the party.
Ecaterina Andronescu and Rovana Plumb said in turn that they welcomed The TV star joining the party.
Gabriela Firea is wife of the social democrat Florin Pandele, the Mayor of Voluntari City. Gabriela Firea said she would run for a seat in Parliament at the upcoming winter elections, only under certain circumstances.
"If I meet the party’s criteria, I will enter the competition for the Parliament, (...) such a go-getter as I am," Firea stated, answering a question on the subject.
