The American Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday in his speech at the end of his visit to Romania, that the most important value of the EU and NATO country is a transparent society, free, where corruption is considered an enemy, the government is fair and honest and all are treated with dignity, Mediafax reports.    

Joe Biden began his speech at the Cotroceni, in the presence of the Romanian President, the Prime Minister, the President of PNL and the first deputy of the PDL Cătălin Predoiu, greeting those present and adding "I may be addressing the future president too."

The U.S. Vice President was presented in the Union Hall by Laura Silvas, a master student at the Foreign Languages Faculty, American Studies

At the speech delivered by the U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, there are politicians present, ministers, party leaders, representatives of the judiciary and the civil society, and journalists invited by the U.S. Embassy, overall about 200 people.    

President Traian Băsescu is seated between the Senate Chairman, Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, and the Deputies Chamber chairman, Valeriu Zgonea.
