The elected will be mostly affected by the budget cuts under the travel abroad chapter.
The MPs will not travel abroad as often. That’s because the Government has cut from the Chamber’s budget over 2,5 million lei provided under the travel abroad chapter. On the other hand, The Senate’s budget line was adjusted by 188.000 lei.
The protocol expenses budget has been adjusted as well. The Chamber’s budget by 800.000 lei and the Senate’s by 380 .000 lei.
The Parliament is going to spend less for communications services as well. The budgets have been cut by 400.000 for the Chamber and by 100,000 lei for the Senate.
The Executive reduced the amounts provided under the heating, lighting and sanitation budget chapters. For the Chamber of Deputies the housing budget line has been reduced by almost 180.000 lei and for the Senate by 77.000 lei.
