Adrian Mutu is having a hard time finding a team. His hopes of joining Genoa look to be over, with reports indicating that he may go to Serie A rivals Atalanta instead.
The Romanian was relegated into Serie B last term after a disappointing season with Cesena and looks set to make an immediate return to the top flight.
Mutu scored eight times for Cesena last season, from 28 appearances. Any move back to the top flight would see the 33-year-old sign for a seventh different Serie A side, after he played for Inter Milan, Verona, Parma, Juventus, Fiorentina and Cesena.
