Exit polls conducted on Sunday for the referendum to recall President Traian Basescu have indicated that most of the Romanians voted to recall impeached President Traian Basescu.
An exit poll conducted by the CCSB Company for Sociological Research and Branding, commissioned by Antena 3 television channel, revealed that 84 percent voted to recall Traian Basescu. Only 16 percent of the eligible voters were against the recall.
The exit poll reflected the turnout as of 21:00 p.m., two hours before the end of the referendum.
