Acting president, Crin Antonescu, has voted, sunday morning, at School nr. 73 in Bucharest. He stated he was a bit nervous about today's event, but hoped there would be a conclusive presence today at the ballot. Asked what message does he have for impeached presedint Basescu, he replied: Citizen, vote!“.
„I voted because I am a Romanian citizen and because this is an important moment in the history of this country. I want that us, citizens of this country, to decide“, stated Antonescu, after leaving the polling section.
President Antonescu added he would be watching the ongoing poll from home and later on from Cotroceni Palace, the presidential residence.
