Premier Victor Ponta drew the attention of the ministers gathered in a Government meeting at Victoria Palace, that the executive would work at full speed in the coming period, Agerpres reports.
'In the coming days the Government will work at full speed, regardless of the fact that Parliament or other institutions are still enjoying recess. We need to ensure the stability and tranquility that are absolutely necessary and we shall especially make a significant effort to counteract the effects of an irresponsible propaganda of denigrating Romania, made by exactly those winning thousands of euros to represent Romania to various structures of the European Parliament. The thousands of euros they have won each month form the Romanians' labour have been used to denigrate Romania and to ruin a work made for very many years by Romanians and very many governments. It is a shame that after 22 years from the Revolution someone cannot leave power without destroying the country. Our duty is to make the administration function, as until now,' Victor Ponta said in the opening of the Government meeting.
