Three young men who were caught in the Collective inferno but somehow managed to come out alive are safe and sound at home now.  One and a half months after suffering severe burns, Alex Plângu, Viorel Andrei Bud and Andrei Trifu were released from the Bagdasar-Arseni hospital.

The three of them say they were given a new lease on life and they can hardly wait to spend Christmas with their families.

After  one and a half months of "Collective" struggle with severe burns, Alex Plângu, Viorel Andrei Bud and Andrei Trifu have started a new life now. The tragedy they've been through has changed them forever, but they say it has also made them stronger.

They're all happy to be home for Christmas, but they are also kind of sorry they have to part with the doctors who took good care of them.

As they can no longer use their hands properly, they will all have to go back to the hospital for kinetotherapy. This cannot prevent them, however, from making plans for the future.

Two of the young people wounded in the nightclub fire are still hospitalized at the Bagdasar-Arseni clinic. Another 20 are further receiving treatment in other hospitals in Bucharest. So far, only 60 victims of the October 30th tragedy have been released from hospital.
