President Traian Băsescu said on Friday that he was glad to see that the note from the Constitutional Court of Romania (CCR) on his suspension found no reason to justify his suspension, Agerpres reports.
"Firstly, I must tell you that I took notice of CCR note and I was glad to see that they had not found no breach made by the president to justify suspension, as it is presented in Art 95 of the Constitution of Romania," said Basescu in the Parliament plenum.
The Constitutional Court of Romania notices in the advisory document released on Friday on the impeachment request of President Traian Basescu that in some cases the Head of State surpassed his duties or failed to observe his duties with maximum efficacy and in others he did not breach the constitutional rules.
