Prime Minister Victor Ponta said on Wednesday, at a common news conference with Hannes Swoboda, the leader of the group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in European Parliament, that the law was being respected in Romania
"I want to tell M.M. Barroso and Van Rompuy tomorrow that the state of law and the constitutional order in Romania were and will be respected", the Romanian Prime Minister stressed.
He added Romania had not joined the European Union judicially only, but it respects all the EU values.
