Dan Voiculescu accused Basescu and his protégées, Elena Udrea and Monica Macovei of the fact that they destroyed Romania. In a letter sent to the three, the founding chairman of the Conservative Party talks about the period when Basescu was the country’s leader, describing it as a decade of shame.
In the letter sent to Băsescu and the other two candidates in the presidential elections, Dan Voiculescu speaks of the irreparable evil they incurred to the country. “Shame on you! You have destroyed Romania through your dilettantism. You have no idea about anything but you pretend to know all: the market economy, fiscal strategy, social policy, international relations, and economic development strategies. You have secured a place in the black history of Romania, setting unrivaled lows. A large stain of shame is left behind you in this nation’s history. What unites you is a total lack of character, morality. Basescu - Mr. R’s snitch to the Political Police, Macovei – a communist prosecutor, Udrea – still a "wh." To use the terms ex- Mr. Foreign Affairs, Baconschi used. "”
Dan Voiculescu accused them that they united to gain political power in Romania and are still living under the impression that Romanians still believe what they say.
"Your common denominator is your nerve raised to the state of political level and shamelessness unparalleled in the modern history of Romania. Romanians will remember for a long time from now these 10 years as a decade of shame, duly recorded in history!"
According to the founding chairman of the Conservative Party, the political class, state institutions, national and international organizations, owe it to Romanians to restore hope that there is still justice in this country.
"For the servants of Basescu -Udrea-Macovei regime: you can be sure that justice will be carried through. It makes no sense for you to change your orientation. Romania does not need chameleons."
