Future US Congress could decide on the long awaited increase of the rejection rate ceiling from 3% as it is now to 10%. The rejection rate percentage for visa applications from Romanian citizens in the fiscal year 2013-2014 was of 9.8%.
Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu, discussed about visas with the US Assistant Secretary of State for European Affairs, Victoria Nuland, in the meeting that they had last week.
