Voltaj band will represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 in Vienna (Austria), with the song "From the begining", the winner of the Eurovision national final selection, which was held Sunday evening at Polyvalent Hall of Craiova, and was broadcast live on TVR.

Voltaj – From the begining

Voltaj band which will represent Romania in Eurovision 2015 was chosen according to the scores received from the expert jury (50%) and by televoting (50%).
Therefore, Voltaj band obtained 4.707 of votes from the public, which turned into 12 points, to which 12 points from the jury were added.
The second position after the votes, was held by Luminita Anghel ("A Million Stars") with 18 points, and on the third position, Ovidiu Anton ("Still Alive") with 15 points.

The Eurovision national selection jury consisted of singer and composer Mihai Pocorschi, - Ovidiu Cernauteanu - who represented Romania at the Eurovision 2014 along with Paula Seling, Bogdan Honciuc correspondent for Eurovision in Romania and Moldova, Anca Lupeş, agent, composer and conductor Viorel Gavrila (chairman).

After the voting results were announced publicly, Calin Goia, singer of the Voltaj band, said: "I do not know what the jury will decide, I hope that it will be the same as the audience. Until then, I want to thank everyone else who voted for us, who believed in our message, to those who think that Romanians are some honest people who work hard, who make enormous sacrifices and Europe should know this, and children should not be alone, they should be with their parents. "

Also, after Voltaj was announced the winner of this year's edition of the Eurovision Romania, Calin Goia said he was convinced the jury and the public voted with their soul.

"I think our message will become known in Europe," said Calin Goia, from the Eurovision stage, thanking the entire team that made possible the realization of this song, and the fans who have supported the band in this.

Eurovision Song Contest 2015 will be held in Vienna, Austria, on 19, 21 and 23 May. Romania will participate in the first semifinal of the contest, held on May 19th , along with Greece, Macedonia, Estonia, Netherlands, Moldova, Finland, Belgium, Armenia, Serbia, Denmark, Belarus, Russia, Albania, Georgia and Hungary.
