Heat prices in Buchraest could go up by 10%. ELCEN, the company that heats the water in power plants, requested the National Regulatory Authority from the energy sector to rise the production price by this specific percentage. ELCEN explained this decision by the recet rise in gas prices. However the final decision will be made by Bucharest Hall.
The judicial administrator of ELCEN declared that the reorganization of Romania's largest producer of heating energy started on 22 October. Currently ELCEN is under judicial reorganization.
