Bogdan Ionescu, who also goes by the name of Syda, has been investigated under the charge of bodily injury by negligence after hitting a 73 year old motor biker on a boulevard in the Capital city. The old man had not been inflicted with any serious injury but Basescu’s son in law acted wrong. Instead of calling the ambulance and the police, he got the old man in his car and took him to hospital.
It has not been the first time the president’s son in law has broken traffic regulations. He has also been caught by journalists driving in Bucharest with nearly 140 km per hour, ignoring the speed limit of 50 km per hour.
