Traian Basescu said in press statement on Wednesday that he was watching the political debate and noticed a great confusion regarding the referendum. Because of this, impeached president Basescu compiled a file which he handed out to the media. The file contains every bill on permanent electoral lists regarding every kind of election.
„Every kind of election has its own electoral bills so I want to come to your help. We have a special bill for presidential elections, for local elections etc“, stated Traian Basescu.
„I see mister Crin says he didn't pressure at all mister Rus, but I say I did pressure mister Rus, from over here. By the warnings that I made regarding the electoral lists. I don't suspect mister Rus of acting in bad faith, but I think that he was tricked and gullible, so I'm telling him that I don't suspect him of unrighteousness. Mister Rus needs to know that to the 18,3 million Romanians he must add 460.000 more Romanians that live abroad“, said Traian Basescu.
