"What is Romania like?", The Guardian’s most successful campaign: Clearly Romanians want to show us their country and something about themselves
“What is Romania like?”, is the most successful campaign of The Guardian journalists. Caroline Bannock said it, the campaign coordinator  who added that the project became a hit  overnight after the Romanians simply stormed  the British newsroom with pictures and comments.

Bannock says that most of the pictures will be used for materials that will be written about Romania and Romanians who come to work in the island.

"This campaign will continue for a while and we will use them in  our materials about Romania and Romanians who come to work in the UK. I expect it to be a very nice gallery and I expect some very good articles to come out," Caroline Bannock said.

"It's a very successful campaign. Catalans have recently celebrated their  national day and wanted to create a human chain in the Basque country and  we’ve got very,  very many posts. I believe that we will receive even more from  the Romanians. We are already at  2,000 posts, which is huge. So it's clear that people want to show us their country and something about them, " the Guardian journalist said.
