Simona Halep is 5th WTA. This is the highest-ranked player in the history of Romania.

The record compensate for her Saturday failure at Indian Wells, when Simona Halepwas defeated by Polish Agnieszka Radwanska, WTA No. 3, with a score of 6-3, 6-4, in a match that lasted almost one hour and a half.

Next for Simona Halep is the tournament in Miami, another Premier Mandatory category during the March 17 to 24.
