Romanian sportswoman Dorottya Buzas won the silver medal in biathlon, the 6 km sprint sample at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) 2013.

Buzas was clocked with a time of 19:34:10 minutes, without any penalty in the two sessions of polygon shoot. Polish Kinga Mitoraj was granted first place, in 19:11:70 and in the third place arrived Merkuşina Anastasia (Ukraine), in 19:37:30

Dorottya Buzaş, nearly 18 years old, brought Romania its third medal in the EYOF 2013 competition, after the medals of gold and silver won by a de Emil Imre in short track.

I did not feel anything particular on the podium, I have a hard time realizing what has just happened. I am very happy though, the medal is so beautiful. It is nice and interesting, but it is also tiring because I am not used to it. Today, after the competition, everybody came to me, wanted to have their pictures taken with me, interviews and I got a little tired. This silver medal motivates me a lot, because if I have succeeded now, I can succeed in larger competitions too, in the IBU cups (the international biathlon federation) or in the world championships for juniors”, Buzas stated for Agerpress.
