Vladimir Putin congratulates Klaus Iohannis for winning the presidential elections

President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin congratulated Klaus Iohannis for being elected  president of Romania, citing in the congratulations message his desire to confirm  "his interest in the development of constructive Russian-Romanian relationships".       

The congratulatory text message of  Vladimir Putin, the  Russian  Federation President addressed to  Klaus Iohannis, the President- elect of Romania, has been recently  posted on the Facebook account of the Russian Embassy in Bucharest. 

"May I offer  my congratulations on the occasion of your election as President of Romania. I would like to acknowledge the interest in the development of Russian-Romanian constructive relationships,  of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation in various fields.
