The case file with the biggest damages in the Romanian history has reached the court. Petrotel- Lukoil Ploiesti and another company in the same group, plus six persons from the oil giant have been indicted. The damage is estimated at over 1.7 billion euros.
The case defendants include SC Petrotel Lukoil SA Ploiesti Director General who is charged of using the company's capital in bad faith and money laundering.
The defendants in the case are SC Petrotel- Lukoil SA Ploiesti, Lukoil Europe Holdings Bvatrium Netherlands and several Russian, Romanian and Moldovan citizens holding leadership positions in the refinery in Ploiesti.
