11 children are closer than ever to seeing their dream come true. They are living in a disused railway station and they hope to have a proper home some day.
Many Romanians who settled in London joined forces to help them and donated thousands of pounds sterling.
It happened during a Proconsul concert held in the capital of the UK with support from the Mereu Aproape Foundation.
"A Better Man" was the opening song of the Proconsul concert in London. All those who went to their show are better people now, because they decided to help11 underprivileged children unconditionally.
For these children to be able to live in a proper house, Proconsul, two Romanian charitable organisations in London and the Mereu Aproape Foundation joined forces. 200 Romanians who settled in London donated money to watch the concert and the sum gathered this way will go straight to the needy families.
The children's parents were crying for joy after they learnt about the generosity of their co-nationals from London.
The charitable actions to help the poor families stranded in that wretched train station will continue. Another fund raising will take place in London on the 19th of December.
