"I'm waiting for Crin Antonescu to say that the 7.4 million Romanians who voted in the referendum for the president's impeachment, all the votes have been a coup," Rovana Plumb said.
"Now Crin Antonescu goes and allies with the European People’s Party, and from our point of view not only does he deceive everything that the ALDE membership means, the group of European Liberals and democrats, a family they have been part of for so many years, including starting from 2007, the moment when Romania joined the big European family. The Liberals being part of ALDE are deceiving everything that Romanians trust and means and it betrays every day the ideals of the Social Liberal Union and it proves with each passing day that the party does have a secret arrangement with president Traian Băsescu", the Minister of Labour added.
“From my point of view, I believe that in the right wing area, the outcome to the European elections here in Romania are a signal for concern, of desperation on the part of all the right wing parties who are now trying to take shelter, such as the PNL does in a family, which from my point of view is immoral”, Rovana Plumb continued.
