A wave of polar air is reaching Romania.The temperatures already dropped by almost 10 degrees Celsius and soon they might drop below 0.
'We had the first wave of cold air this past weekend. The coldest moment will be on Wednesday when a cold batch of air will pass through our country and will increase wind speed in most regions and reach 55-65 km/h.
Rain will be present through out the country and in the mountain areas it will snow. The layer of snow will be followed by strong winds.
The temperatures will drop especially on Wednesday, when the maximum temperature will reach 7-8 degrees Celsius. On Thursday the temperatures will continue to drop.', declared meteorologist Alina Serban for Antena 3.
