President Klaus Iohannis received Tuesday at Cotroceni Palace, the Prime Minister of Moldova Valeriu Strelet, assuring him of Romania’s full support in economy but also in Europe, following ratification of the Chamber of Deputies of the loan offered to the authorities in Chisinau.

I can see that you come from Brussels to the main promoter of Moldova in European affairs, which of course is Romania, and I find it a very positive coincidence, "said Iohannis, at the beginning of talks, Mediafax informs.
Moldovan prime minister thanked the President for meeting with him and for the support of Romania.
"I had a good visit, brief, in Brussels and I was counting to reach Bucharest to thank the Romanian authorities, your staff, the Parliament, the Government of Romania for the support that they constantly grant to us and especially now at a crucial time for our country which we hope to overcome with joint efforts to ensure the continuity of reforms and changes, which began some time ago, "said Streleţ, expressing regret that due to his flight delay, he failed to reach the Parliament during the voting on the loan agreement.
Klaus Iohannis conveyed to the Moldovan Prime Minister that our country "will continue to support them." "You know that you can rely on Romania anytime," said Iohannis.
The President said that the Parliament "voted with enthusiasm" the loan agreement, congratulating all those involved for the celerity with which they have fulfilled all the necessary steps.
