President Klaus Iohannis will have talks today with the new Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova, Pavel Filip. The meeting is held only a week after the Moldovan Premier took office in Chişinău and it's Filip's first formal visit abroad. The latter will also have a meeting today with the head of the Cabinet in Bucharest, Dacian Cioloş. The two Prime Ministers will examine together the reform agenda of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement, as well as the Romanian-Moldovan joint projects. Pavel Filip's visit to Bucharest takes place against the backdrop of massive protests sweeping the streets of Chişinău, where the opposition is collecting signatures in favour of holding early elections.
