On the way to the Guinness Book! Romania’s flag, the world’s largest flag is almost ready

Some 40,000 square meters of fabric have already gone through the hands of the flags factory seamstresses. They have reached the last color of the tricolor: red. Their work is almost over, and the satisfaction is increasing from day to day. Soon, their hands will have manufactured the biggest flag in the world and the biggest flag of the European Union.

The employees at fabricadesteaguri.eu have been working tirelessly for almost two weeks. As soon as they have sewed the cloth pieces, they carry them into another room and placed them in storage. They have almost finished sewing the yellow cloth.

By the end, they will have used 2 km of thread.

The employees are more anxious by the day to see the final outcome. They know they are about to set two world records and they are proud of their work. The Tricolor will cover seven hectares. The fabric already sewn up occupies now four hectares.

Antenna 3 together with the flags factory will set two world records: the biggest tricolor and the biggest EU flag . The initiative to make the largest flag in the world is a continuation of the campaign “The Tricolor reads Unity ” of last December.
